Combining compact dimensions and carbine-like ballistic performance with an 8” barrel, this BANSHEE™ SBR is built on the original CMMG® 9mm platform, the Mk9. Utilizing Colt-style 9mm SMG magazines the Mk9 also employs traditional AR15 controls, providing a familiar manual of arms for any shooter.
Available in a variety of cerakote finish options, the BANSHEE series represents the most innovative AR SBRs available today. From the quick deploying RIPSTOCK®, to the stylized receivers and EML™ handguards, every BANSHEE is tailor-made to be the personal defense weapon you can always depend on. With full length M-LOK® slots on both sides and the bottom of the handguard as well as M-LOK between the top picatinny rail sections, you’ll always have enough space for those must have accessories.
Originally developed for the .45 ACP MkG platform, CMMG has adapted our Radial Delayed Blowback system across our lineup to create SBRs and rifles with a softer recoil impulse and reduced bolt weight compared to traditional straight blowback systems.
